Deepdene Cricket Club NACA trophy (most awarded player Peter Bakes) got a dusting off in the most recent round

Candidate 1
Dr Chris Day. Scheduled to play at LaTrobe university, he went to Monash

Candidate 1
Second day of the game Chris has a flat tyre and has to get a lift in the Captains car. At least the captain was sure he would get there on time.

Candidate 2
Brother Simon, nails a leg side stumping smashing the wickets into the shape of the leaning tower of pisa. Not out! The bails are still intact.

Candidate 3
In what has to be the most unique excuse for missing a vets game I have ever heard, opening bat Lou Stefanetti makes himself unavailable because his partner is having their first baby. We welcome Andrew Stefanetti to the bears.
